Let's hand down the message of Hiroshima and Nagasaki To all over the world To save lives of all the people on the earth!
We, the staff members of Hiroshima Institute For Peace Education, have been working for world eternal peace and for the abolishment of the nuclear weapons.
Every year many people lose their lives because of radiation aftereffects, and second generation survivors still suffer now.
We, however, have recently learned the severe reality that people of the world do not know the terrifying fact of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We believe that the truth of Hiroshima and Nagasaki must be given wider publicity to save the lives of all the people on the earth.
As a soul of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we appeal to the world and to our future the diginity of humankinds' existence. Therefore, HIPE has decided to contribute a set of photographs, called "HIROSHIMA・NAGASAKI", to teachers, nations, and children in other country of the world to let them know the truth of the A-bombs.
Please show the photographs to children by some means or other, and please cooporate with us for the abolishment of nuclear weapons.
Hiroshima Institute for Peace Education has cooperated for holding the A-bomb exhibition with providing a set of photographs of the Hiroshima bombing with schools and public institutions in the world.
